monday and tuesday

Monday was a very good day.  It started with us getting the boys up together, very normal, and than getting them situated with there breakfasts, and than we left them in the great care of their grandma!!  Every monday that we can, we go over to our house(which we are trying to sell) and work on it, so Janis keeps the boys.  It is nice, because we really need to get the house done, but we also get to do it all with just the two of us. It is like a really weird date day.  So this one started with starbucks, and than we went to the house and worked.  I got to buy a book at Borders while we detoured there over lunch.  The book is called the clean food diet, and it is awesome, because it has lots of info, like exactly what to buy, along with pics of what your fridge could look like if you put it in there!  Anyway, than at five, Robby went to work, and I went to the library and found an awesome book called A Small Farm In Maine.  It is really awesome!!!  So to finish the day, I met Leah (my sister) to see Leap Year, which I paid for with change!( for the third time actually)  It was a really good movie, I laughed, cried, snorted while I laughed, and had to cross my legs really tightly while I cried not to pee, so again, that was very worth my 5 bucks in quarters and dimes!
Tuesday was a little more crazy!  The morning was normal, food, baths, playing, laundry, napping.I even got to read with my feet up for an hour!!!  In the afternoon, I felt so good that I thought I would make some loaves of bread.( I have been making bread regularly for about a year and a half, with the exception of the last two months, I haven't made a single loaf.)I also decided that while my bread was rising, I would make chocolate chip cookies, since I know Robby loves them, and he is gonna have a pretty stressful week.  So I got the boys each their own measuring cup of water, one of salt, one of flour, and one of sugar. This was a good, fun idea, but clean up was a bad bad price to pay!!  The boys had so much fun, so it was totally worth it, but they trashed themselves and the floor and cabinets, etc.  They had to have another bath(in the sink)which I thought would be great, they could each get one side, and I would clean the floor.  I don't think I had ever seen an 8 month preggo try to clean tiled floors before.  It wasn't pretty. Nor did it feel very good.  The best and most embarassing part was that Ellery and Charlie managed somehow to take apart the sink.  The whole sprayer was taken off, and the tube that connected it had fallen.  I felt like such a lucky mom!But thats okay, my cookies rocked and the bread was half eaten at dinner, the other loaf  frozen.  I think I will wait until baby girl comes to try and bother again!
This was followed by a very fast good night routine, and my longest bath to date!!!! I am now once again a happy girl and am planning on sitting on my heating pad reading A Small Farm In Maine, ignoring the laundry that wasn't folded and waiting until Robby gets home!!!!
